Since our very first reservation on LaFourchette.com in October 2006, the small start-up, created by the current CEO and co-founder Bertrand Jelensperger, has grown big.
Established in France in our Parisian HQ, but also in Spain, Switzerland, Belgium, Italy, The Netherlands, Sweden, Turkey, Denmark, Portugal and Brazil, LaFourchette now works with over 400 collaborators and 24 000 partner restaurants. It became part of TripAdvisor in May 2014.
LaFourchette holds many more records: 3.5 million mobile apps downloaded, 3 million comments, 6 million unique users monthly and a software solution which allows restaurant owners to manage their reservations.
Ever since the adventure has begun, LaFourchette’s mission is to help customers to choose and book a restaurant, without having to call, let all his or her guests know and, most of all, without risking a bad experience. All you have to do is read the comments left by the community!
